Donor Policy
Last Updated: January 2026
1. Our Commitment to Donors
The Hustero Foundation is deeply grateful for the generosity of our supporters. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of stewardship. We will not sell, share, or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
2. Secure Payment Processing
Your financial security is our priority. We use Stripe, a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1, to process all online donations. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
- Data Encryption: All transactions are SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protected.
- No Storage: The Hustero Foundation does not store your full credit card number or CVV code on our servers.
3. Refund Policy
Donations to the Hustero Foundation are generally considered non-refundable. However, we recognize that errors can occur.
If you made a donation in error (e.g., typed the wrong amount or duplicate transaction), please contact us within 7 days of the transaction.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original method of payment. Please contact finance@hustero.org for assistance.
4. Tax Deductibility
The Hustero Foundation is a registered non-profit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law in your jurisdiction.
After your donation is processed, you will receive an email receipt confirming the amount and date of your contribution. Please retain this receipt for your tax records. We recommend consulting with a qualified tax professional regarding the deductibility of your donation.
5. Financial Accountability
We believe in full transparency regarding how your funds are utilized. Our annual reports and financial statements are available upon request to demonstrate how contributions directly support our mission and community projects.
6. Gift Acceptance
The Hustero Foundation reserves the right to refuse any donation that is inconsistent with our mission, core values, or that may bring the organization into disrepute. We do not accept funds from sources known to be involved in illegal activities.
